Christopher is the founder of Carvell Group and its affiliate companies.
Starting his career as an electrician progressing his career in holding various technical and managerial positions for Crown House Technologies, NG Bailey & Co and then Taylor Woodrow.
Moving into focusing his career in the specialist area of electro-technical fire safety namely fire detection & fire alarms, emergency lighting and emergency voice communication systems in 1998, Christopher has subsequently held various positions including board member of the specialist fire sector of an electrical industry trade association, technical assessment officer, principal technical assessment officer and registered technical expert for certification bodies delivering UKAS certificated schemes for British Approvals for Fire Equipment (BAFE) Schemes.
Still very much a working practitioner Christopher provides services to a broad range of clients for varying purposes such as knowledge transfer by training, business start-up mentoring, process implementation, technical and cost auditing, checking consultancy and technical conflict resolution.
With a strong passion to improve understanding and compliance within the electro-technical fire safety industry Christopher is solutions focused, a true collaborator and innovator, directing the technical staff of Carvell Group to develop and update the products and services offered by the broader business and our industry associates.

Brooke joined Carvell Group in 2017 as an apprentice with an interest for a career in accountancy after having a small amount of experience working in the sector after leaving education.
After working in accountancy roles for some time her role started to incorporate more of an administrative focus, assisting with scheduling of works, dealing with paperwork and general office duties.
Brooke has an eye for detail and is a perfectionist in all aspects of work she produces/assists with along with an excellent manner when communicating with suppliers & clients.
A highly reliable, responsible, and methodical person who strives to excel in any task set by herself or team members.

Mark started his career as an apprentice electrician with NG Bailey & Co Ltd progressing from an apprentice to various technical roles, an employment term spanning 12 years working on various high-profile projects from large hospitals, Military sites and industrial projects to small commercial developments focusing towards the specialist area of electro technical fire safety towards the last 4 years of this employment term.
Mark then moved on to hold various positions within the electro technical field working throughout Great Britain/Europe and Offshore in Installations in Supervisory and Managerial roles.
With over 26 years’ experience in the electro technical industry Mark still likes to take a hands-on approach in the design and verification of compliant systems acting on behalf of our key clients, ensuring their Contractors have all the information and direction to Supply, Install and Commission fully compliant electro-technical fire safety system to ensure a soft landing for the client.
As the Business Lead for Carvell Consulting Mark strives to ensure that all our clients receive compliance either through our Design Service and/or Checking Consultancy, Due to Marks experience he is ideally placed to Manage Carvell Consulting and to ensure Carvell Consulting stays at the forefront of electro technical fire safety design and checking consultancy.

Jonathan started his career as an apprentice mechanical services engineer with Quartz Electrical & Mechanical Services progressing from an apprentice to staff, completing various roles, working on estimates and design of systems.
Jumping forward to his time with Carvell Consulting Jonathan has performed many different roles across the business ranging from the production of AutoCAD drawings, producing Fire Detection and Fire Alarm, Emergency Lighting and Evacuation Alert system designs to performing audits on our clients Management Systems to ensure they meet the requirements of the various BAFE Schemes.
In his current role as Drawing and Document Technician he is responsible for the production of designs and ensuring our clients receive compliant drawings and documentation of the highest standard for their ongoing projects.

Andy Benbow

Andy has previously held multiple project & change management roles within the IT & Digital sector, across a number of industries which include insurance, healthcare, oil & gas and telecom infrastructure.
Following a redundancy in 2012, Andy took the opportunity to work in Australia & New Zealand, managing a number of projects where the focus was to align people, process and technology.
As the business lead for Carvell Systems, Andy is responsible for delivering the technology and systems for Carvell Systems clients, as well as for the companies within the broader Carvell Group.
With a strong passion for all things digital, Andy uses his knowledge and experience to drive forward the use of technology to improve ways of working and provide operational efficiencies.

Louise White

Louise is a qualified solicitor specialising in Commercial, Intellectual Property and Corporate matters.
Having practiced for large national law firms in both Leeds and the North East, Louise has a wealth of experience in dealing with commercial matters. During her career she has been involved in many highly complex transactions and cases including trade mark disputes between high street brands and the sale of a major car manufacturer.
On a day to day basis Louise has particular specialism in GDPR and drafting and negotiating complex commercial arrangements.
In 2019 Louise left private practice to establish Coach House Legal Consultancy after identifying a gap in the market for SME’s who require in-house counsel but do not wish to employ one on a full time basis.
Louise’s wealth of commercial experience allows her to help her clients make the best commercial decisions for their business whilst also providing sensible pragmatic advice. Louise now acts as a commercial and legal advisor and in some cases, non- executive director, to a number of businesses across the North East.

Allison Carvell

Allison started her career working as an Administration Officer for Storey Sons & Parker, a national commercial property consultancy now known as Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH).
Subsequently Allison has worked as an Administration Officer for various organisations including Premier Inn, the National Health Service (NHS) and a local engineering company before joining Carvell Group.
Allison’s role is to manage the administration aspects of the business and is also the designated point of contact for matters of customer service.

Robert’s career has progressed through both the public and private sector developing solutions and systems for companies in the financial, fenestration, franchise and fire compliance sector.
Robert has been instrumental in the development of technical solutions for some of the biggest industry leaders in the UK and currently heads up the Systems Development section of Carvell Group. Jamie studied at Cleveland College of Art & Design, where he achieved a triple distinction* diploma, and then went on to earn his BA honours degree from Bournemouth University. He won multiple design competitions along the way, both earning the opportunity to work for Hartlepool Council and won another given by one of the North East’s biggest eCommerce agencies, where he later worked.
Jamie has worked for multiple design agencies and large-scale eCommerce agencies, working his way through the ranks, developing a multidisciplinary knowledge and skill set which has made him a pivotal member within our in-house design department.
Armed with a passion for design and a keen eye for detail, Jamie is responsible for managing and designing all creative media for the Carvell Group and all of our clients.

Colin Bramley

Earlier in his career, Colin specialised in the social housing sector, selling directly to councils, contractors, and other social housing providers. He has an in-depth knowledge in the procurement & service agenda, focusing on exceeding expectations and developing new market opportunities whilst minimising risk.
Colin enjoys working in challenging roles that require excellent customer relations, negotiation, and networking skills, along with strategic vision. An enthusiastic and results driven, team player with the management and motivational skills required to optimise business profitability.
